VOLUME INDEX

The embarkation rolls for the New Zealand Expeditionary Force (N.Z.E.F.) are divided into four volumes, one for each of the years of the war's duration. 1914 and 1915 are combined into one volume.

The rolls contain the names and details of those members on the New Zealand Expeditionary Force (Army) who left New Zealand for service overseas.  Included in the rolls are sometimes Naval or Flying Corps / Air Force attachments who were travelling to overseas postings.
